  2. Minimum Group Size Requirement: To deliver consistent service quality and value, many of our tours require a minimum number of confirmed participants. This applies to both inbound (local) and outbound (international) tours.
  3. Why This Matters: Minimum group sizes are essential to cover operational costs and ensure a cohesive tour experience. If the required number of participants is not met, Chrysalis Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour in line with our standard policies.
  4. Tour Cancellation Timeline
    Should a tour be canceled due to insufficient bookings, you will be notified as follows:
    • Tours longer than 4 days: Notification at least 14 days before tour commencement.
    • Tours 3 days or less: Notification at least 7 days before tour commencement.
    • Day Tours or Half-Day Tours: Notification at least 3 days before tour commencement.
  5. Refund Guarantee:
    1. If Chrysalis Tours cancels a tour due to the minimum group size not being met:
      • You will receive a full refund, including any credit card charges.
      • Chrysalis Tours will not be liable for additional costs incurred independently by the customer (e.g., airfares, visa fees, third-party hotel bookings).
    2. If a customer voluntarily cancels their booking:
      • A full refund will be issued minus credit card processing fees, provided cancellation is within the allowable period stated in our Terms & Conditions.
  6. Booking Advisory:
    1. Please note that while we welcome your interest in joining our tour, Chrysalis Tours is not responsible for any non-refundable third-party travel services, such as air tickets, accommodations, or insurance, that are independently arranged by customers prior to receiving official tour confirmation from us.
    2. For many of our tours, flight arrangements may be offered through Chrysalis Tours at competitive rates, with bookings made once the minimum group size is confirmed. This helps ensure better value and flexibility for our guests.
    3. In the event that the minimum number of participants is not reached by the tour closing date, the tour may be cancelled, and any payments made to Chrysalis will be fully refunded.
  7. Third-Party Services: If your tour includes third-party services (e.g., airlines, cruise lines, hotels), their individual cancellation and refund terms may apply and, in some cases, take precedence over our policies.
  8. Changes & Cancellations:
    • All requests for cancellations or amendments must be made in writing via email.
    • Verbal or phone requests will not be accepted.
    • Amendment fees may apply, along with any applicable charges from third-party providers.
  9. Valid Payment Channels: Only payments made through official Chrysalis Tours bank accounts or our secure online payment gateway will be recognized. Payments made to personal accounts are not valid and will not be acknowledged.
  10. Peak Season or Promotional Bookings: Stricter terms may apply to bookings during peak periods or under promotional offers. These conditions will be clearly stated at the time of booking and on your invoice.
